Rockstar Games has given fans their biggest look yet at Grand Theft Auto VI, releasing 39 brand-new screenshots just two weeks before the game’s launch — and the numbers behind the most anticipated game in history are just as striking as the pictures.
Sensor Tower estimates that GTA 6 has already sold 7.71 million pre-orders worldwide, generating an estimated $751 million in revenue before the game has even gone on sale. The GTA 6 $751 million pre-orders figure underlines how enormous the launch on 19 November is shaping up to be — though it is an analyst estimate, not an official number from Rockstar or its parent company Take-Two Interactive.

The fresh images, added to Rockstar’s official GTA VI gallery — which now holds 138 screenshots in total — offer new looks at the game’s neon-soaked Vice City, its two protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, and the criminal chaos they are swept into. The set includes nightclubs, scuba diving, strip clubs, sweeping aerial views of the fictional state of Leonida, and quieter character moments in between.
The screenshots arrive after what is expected to be the game’s final trailer last month, a video that has since been running heavily on television. After more than a decade of waiting since GTA V, the series is about to return to one of its most recognisable settings, and Rockstar is making sure the countdown feels impossible to miss.
$751 Million in Pre-Orders — and Counting

According to Sensor Tower’s GTA 6 sales tracker, updated on 3 November, the estimated 7.71 million pre-orders split about 74 percent to PlayStation 5 (5.74 million) and 26 percent to Xbox Series X|S (1.97 million), with the figures net of cancellations and refunds. Dividing the revenue by the unit count gives an average of roughly $97 per copy, a sign that many buyers chose editions priced above the standard one. With roughly two weeks of pre-ordering still to go at the time of the estimate, the final total is likely to climb higher still.
The number should be read with care: Sensor Tower’s total comes from its own data model, and Take-Two has not released any official pre-order figures. The real scale of demand will probably only become clear in the company’s future earnings reports. Even so, an estimated three-quarters of a billion dollars in advance sales points to a launch week of extraordinary size.
November 19 Launch Is On Track, Says Take-Two Boss

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch worldwide on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no PC version at release. In recent days review copies and embargo details have circulated to media outlets — something journalists commonly treat as a practical sign that a publisher expects to meet its announced date.
Take-Two chief executive Strauss Zelnick has also defended the game’s delays in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, framing the wait as a quality-control choice to avoid shipping a buggy product rather than meeting a schedule. The game has already been postponed twice across a development run stretching more than a decade, so the reassurance matters to fans who have waited years.
Players who have pre-ordered digitally will be able to pre-load the game from 10 November — but they will need room. The download is reported at about 212GB, one of the largest console downloads ever.
Miami Turns Into Real-Life Vice City

Away from the screen, Rockstar has turned the game’s marketing into a physical spectacle. Billboards, posters and bus decals have gone up in cities around the world, while Miami — the real-life inspiration for Vice City — has been hit especially hard with GTA branding.
The publisher has staged takeovers at the Miami Heat arena, bars serving in-universe beers, and even a Vice City blimp overhead, while Miami nightclubs have been reworked into GTA-themed venues in recent weeks. Rockstar will push the theme further on 18 November with “A Night in Vice City”, a special event built around the NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks, with the Heat renamed the Vice City Heat for the night, wearing GTA-themed jerseys and playing on a newly designed court.
What Pakistani Players Need to Know Before Launch

For players in Pakistan, the practical details are simple: the game arrives 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, pre-loading opens on 10 November, and the roughly 212GB download means clearing serious space on the console’s SSD well ahead of time. With no PC version at launch, console players get the first taste — and given the pre-order numbers, launch-day demand is expected to be intense.
Our earlier coverage explained the pre-load timing and download size in full, and our release-date guide covers unlock times and everything confirmed so far. One thing is already certain: after thirteen years of waiting, the countdown to Vice City is nearly over.
