Free AI Training for 100 Women Project Managers in Pakistan Starts Today

A free seven-day training programme that teaches artificial intelligence and automation to women project managers begins in Pakistan today, Friday 6 November 2026. Islamabad.ai, the organisation behind the course, has opened 100 places on the programme, which will run online every evening for a week.

The course is aimed at women who manage projects and want to learn how AI tools can help them plan, track and deliver their work with greater efficiency. It costs nothing to join, and the sessions will be held on Zoom from 6 to 12 November, each evening from 8:00 to 8:45 PM Pakistan Standard Time — a time slot chosen so that working professionals and students can attend without giving up their daytime commitments.

For many professionals, the first step into artificial intelligence is the hardest one. The tools are widely talked about, but few working managers get a structured chance to learn how they fit into real project work. This programme is designed to close exactly that gap, and to do it without charging the women who take part.

What the programme teaches

The programme will be led by trainer Ummutullah Sundas Khan and is built around the practical use of artificial intelligence and automation in project management. Participants will first be introduced to the essential concepts behind the technologies, and then shown how they apply to everyday project work.

The sessions cover ways to improve productivity, cut down repetitive manual tasks and streamline workflows across teams. For managers who coordinate deadlines, budgets and stakeholders, tools that automate scheduling, reporting and routine communication can free up time for the decisions that genuinely need human judgement.

The organisers say the aim is to give project managers enough working knowledge to try AI-powered approaches in their own projects with confidence, rather than treating the technology as something reserved for engineers and data scientists. That framing matters: project managers do not need to build AI systems, but they increasingly need to know what those systems can and cannot do, and where they can safely be put to work.

When the sessions run and how to join

The seven sessions run from 6 to 12 November 2026, every evening from 8:00 to 8:45 PM on Zoom. The 45-minute format is deliberate. It is short enough to fit around a working day and family commitments, but long enough for a focused lesson and questions, and the organisers have kept the same evening slot across all seven days so participants can build it into their routine for the week.

There is no fee for the programme. Women who want to take part can join through the programme’s dedicated WhatsApp group, where updates and joining details are shared with registered attendees, or by scanning the QR code printed on the official poster. Because the first session is this evening, anyone interested should join the group as early as possible so they do not miss the opening session.

Why the course is limited to 100 women

The training forms part of “100 Women Learning AI”, an initiative run by the Women and Girls wing of Islamabad.ai, which offers women and girls practical artificial intelligence skills, learning opportunities and the confidence to take part in an economy increasingly shaped by the technology.

Women remain underrepresented in Pakistan’s technology workforce, and short, focused and free programmes delivered online lower the barriers of cost, travel and time that often keep women from taking up professional development courses. A woman who cannot travel to a training centre, or cannot afford a paid course, can still join an evening session from home — and that is precisely the audience this programme is built for.

Keeping the cohort to 100 participants also allows the trainer to keep the sessions interactive instead of turning them into large lectures. In a group of that size, participants can ask questions, discuss their own projects and get answers that relate to their actual work, which is difficult to do when hundreds of people are on the same call.

What comes next for the initiative

Project management is one of the professions where artificial intelligence is already changing daily routines, from drafting status reports to forecasting delays, and Pakistan’s growing technology and services sector needs managers who understand both the possibilities and the limits of these tools. A free seven-day course on the subject gives interested women a practical entry point into that world.

The organisers have indicated that further sessions under the same initiative will follow for other professions and skill levels. For now, the 100 places on this first programme are the immediate opportunity — and with the opening session taking place this evening, the window to join is measured in hours, not days.
