The Vivo V80 is on its way to Pakistan. After its launch in China and a global rollout that followed, Vivo’s newest V-series phone is scheduled to land in Pakistan this month. The exact launch date has not been announced yet, according to WhatMobile’s report, but nearly everything else about the phone — from its colours to its cameras to its expected price — is already public knowledge. Here is everything Pakistani buyers can expect from the Vivo V80.
Pakistan Launch This Month: 256GB and 512GB Models
Rise Orange is expected to be the hero colour of the Vivo V80 in Pakistan, with Vision Green and Prime Gray likely to follow, according to WhatMobile’s report. On the storage front, Vivo has made an interesting call: the company trimmed the base variant to 128GB in some markets, but Pakistan will not get that entry-level model. Pakistani buyers will instead choose between the 256GB and 512GB versions — a sensible move for a phone whose cameras and display deserve plenty of room.
Battery and Display: 7200mAh Cell and a 144Hz AMOLED
Battery life looks like the headline upgrade on the Vivo V80. The phone carries a 7200mAh cell, a clear jump from the 6500mAh battery in last year’s V70, while 90W FlashCharge stays on board for quick top-ups. The screen gets a meaningful upgrade too: a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, now running at 144Hz instead of the V70’s 120Hz. The display also supports 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, HDR10+ and a local peak brightness of 5000 nits, which should keep it easy to read even under harsh sunlight. GizmoChina’s launch coverage confirms the same display and battery specifications from the phone’s India debut.

Camera: 50MP Main, 50MP ZEISS 3x Periscope, 50MP Selfie
Cameras remain the V-series’ calling card, and the V80 does not skimp. The main camera is a 50MP unit built around Sony’s LYT-700V sensor. Next to it sits a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, optical image stabilisation and autofocus — the portrait workhorse of the trio — while an 8MP ultrawide handles wide shots. The front camera is a 50MP sensor with autofocus and 4K 30fps video recording, a specification few mid-range phones can match. The ZEISS badge on the floating camera module signals the continued imaging partnership behind the optics.
Performance and Software: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Returns
One thing that has not changed is the processor. The Vivo V80 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 — the same chip as the V70, making this the third generation of the V-series on the platform, so buyers should not expect a leap in raw performance. What does change is the software: the phone ships with Android 17 under OriginOS 7, and Vivo promises four major OS updates. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance round out the hardware story, so the phone should handle rain, dust and the odd splash without complaint.
Vivo V80 Price in Pakistan: Expected, Not Confirmed
Now the question everyone is asking: what will it cost? WhatMobile estimates the Vivo V80 will land between Rs 214,999 and Rs 219,999 in Pakistan — but that is an estimate, not an official price. Vivo has not announced Pakistani pricing yet, and other trackers publish different figures, so treat every number as a best guess until the launch event. And if gaming phones are more your thing, the Nubia Neo 5 Max and Neo 5 Pro went on sale in Pakistan from Rs 99,999. We will update this story the moment Vivo announces the official date and price.
