Jazz 5G Device Launched in Pakistan at Rs. 18,000: Price, Where to Buy and Confirmed Details

Pakistan’s largest mobile operator has started selling its own branded 5G hardware. Jazz has put a 5G pocket device on sale in Pakistan at a price of Rs. 18,000, according to the operator’s official post on X, which went up on 2 November 2026 and marks the device as “Now available”.

The announcement graphic, shared under the #JazzHamariSuperPower tag, carries the line “Switch to Tez Tareen Internet with Jazz 5G Device” and describes it in Roman Urdu as a “chhoti si device” with a big speed surprise. The photo shows a palm-sized unit with a colour screen, a Menu button and Jazz 5G branding on the back — the classic pocket-hotspot form factor that shares a mobile connection with a laptop or tablet.

The official price is Rs. 18,000, set by Jazz itself in its own announcement — this is the first time the operator has put a number on its branded 5G hardware. Buyers are being directed to Jazz Experience Centers and franchises; the graphic tells customers to visit their nearest center to get one. Full details are expected on Jazz’s official website.

Neither the post nor the graphic mentions a data bundle included in the box or the warranty terms, so those are worth asking about at the counter before paying.

What the Jazz 5G Device actually is

Jazz calls it simply the “Jazz 5G Device” — no model name has been announced. What the promotional image confirms is the form factor: a palm-sized pocket hotspot with a colour display and a Menu button, built to give laptops and tablets a connection on the go.

What Jazz has not said is just as important: there is no official speed figure, no battery rating and no list of supported bands in the announcement. Everything beyond the price, the photo and the “Now available” status is still to be confirmed.

Reseller specifications remain unconfirmed

A third-party store’s listing calls the unit the Digit M52 5G Pocket Wi-Fi 6 and publishes a full spec sheet: 5G NR (SA/NSA) with 4G LTE Cat4 fallback, peak speeds of up to 2.6 Gbps down and 650 Mbps up, Wi-Fi 6 dual-band at up to 1,200 Mbps combined, nano SIM plus eSIM, a 4,000 mAh removable battery rated for 10 to 15 hours of use, a 2.4-inch colour display, USB Type-C, and dimensions of 131 x 70 x 18.3 mm at 180 grams.

Every one of those numbers is the retailer’s own — Jazz has not confirmed the model name or any single specification. There are red flags in the listing too: the store asks Rs. 25,000, which is Rs. 7,000 more than Jazz’s own price, shows the unit as sold out, and contradicts itself on network support — one line says the hotspot works with all Pakistani networks, another says it supports only Jazz SIMs. Whether the device is network-locked is worth asking at the counter before paying. Until Jazz publishes its own spec sheet, treat the hardware details as unverified.

Why Jazz is selling its own 5G hardware now

The timing fits a partnership Jazz announced on 24 September with device maker DIGIT and chip company UNISOC: the three said they would bring two products to Pakistan, a 5G MiFi and a 5G smartphone built on UNISOC’s V510 and UMS9621 platforms, with prices and sales channels to be announced separately. Jazz has not said that the new device is the MiFi from that partnership, but it is the first hardware to appear since that announcement.

Jazz switched on its 5G network in March, starting with about 180 sites in Islamabad and the provincial capitals, and the network has grown fast since — per the minister’s figures reported on 23 October, Jazz operates about 1,015 of the country’s 1,782 live 5G sites across 24 cities.

There is a practical reason for a pocket hotspot at this price: 5G only reaches customers whose device supports it, and the cheapest 5G phone in the market costs around Rs. 36,000 — so a dedicated Rs. 18,000 device is the cheaper route onto 5G for anyone carrying a 4G phone or a WiFi-only tablet.

For now, the confirmed facts are the price (Rs. 18,000), the “Now available” status, and the sales channel (Jazz Experience Centers and franchises). Everything else — speeds, battery, bands, bundles and warranty — is either the retailer’s word or still unannounced. That will be worth watching as the device reaches store shelves.
