| Vivo Y36 8GB RAM + 256GB storage | Rs. 54,999 (tracker listing) |

Launch Context
The Y36 launched in Pakistan in July 2023 as Vivo’s mid-range all-rounder, notable for bringing 44W fast charging and a 90Hz display to the Rs. 60,000 segment. It sold in Meteor Black, Gold and Aqua Glitter colours. Three years on, it has been superseded by the Y100, Y200 and Y400 — all of which offer AMOLED displays at similar or lower prices.
Camera, Display and Battery
The vivo y36 camera review consensus: the 50MP main camera takes decent daylight photos, and the 16MP selfie camera is better than many newer budget rivals. The 6.64-inch IPS LCD with 90Hz is smooth but cannot match the contrast of AMOLED panels on the Y100 and Y200. The 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging remains respectable.
Performance
The Snapdragon 680 is a 2021-era chip — adequate for calls, WhatsApp, YouTube and light apps in 2026, but noticeably slower than the Snapdragon 685 in newer Vivo phones. Android 13 is now two major versions behind, and further updates are unlikely.
Pros and Cons
- Pros: 16MP selfie camera; dedicated microSD slot; NFC and headphone jack; 44W charging; PTA approved.
- Cons: Old Snapdragon 680 chip; IPS LCD instead of AMOLED; Android 13 with no update future; mostly used/refurbished stock now.
Who Should Buy the Vivo Y36?
Honestly, most buyers in 2026 are better served by newer models: the Vivo Y100 at Rs. 56,999 offers an AMOLED display and 80W charging for less money. The Y36 only makes sense if you find a verified PTA-approved unit in good condition at a steep discount — or specifically want its dedicated microSD slot and headphone jack combo.
Where to Buy and Price Comparison Tips
Compare the vivo y36 256gb price pakistan across listings, but prioritise condition and PTA verification over small price differences. For used units, test everything in person — cameras, fingerprint sensor, charging and battery drain — and get a written receipt.
Vivo Y36 Price in Pakistan: Full Review
The vivo y36 price in pakistan in 2026 needs honest framing: this is a 2023 phone, and newer Vivo models have overtaken it.
Chipset deep-dive: The Snapdragon 680 was a solid 2021 chip, but in 2026 it shows its age — app launches are slower than on the Snapdragon 685 phones, and heavy multitasking can stutter. For calls, WhatsApp, YouTube and Facebook it remains adequate; for anything more demanding, the Y100 or Y200 (same price or cheaper) are noticeably faster.
Display deep-dive: The 6.64-inch 90Hz IPS LCD is smooth but dim (650 nits) and low-contrast next to the AMOLED panels that the Y100, Y200 and Y400 offer at similar money. Outdoors in Pakistani sunlight, the difference is stark.
Where it still wins: The 16MP selfie camera beats the 8MP shooters on newer budget Vivos, the dedicated microSD slot plus headphone jack plus NFC is a connectivity trifecta, and 44W charging remains respectable.
Vivo Y36 vs Vivo Y100: Key Differences
This comparison is brutal for the Y36: the Y100 is newer, Rs. 3,000 cheaper, and offers an AMOLED 120Hz display, faster 80W charging, NFC and a newer chip. The Y36’s only wins are the 16MP selfie camera and the dedicated microSD slot. At the current vivo y36 price in pakistan, the Y36 only makes sense as a discounted used buy — as a new purchase, the Y100 (or Y200) wins on every metric that matters.
