Vivo X500 Series India Launch Tipped for 25 November as Official Microsites Go Live

Vivo X500 series is now one step from its India launch — and the signs are official

Vivo’s next flagship line is now one step from launching in India. The company has officially started teasing the Vivo X500 series, and dedicated microsites are now live on Amazon India and Flipkart, alongside the Vivo India store. Three models are expected — the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max — and a well-known tipster points to 25 November for the launch event. Vivo itself has not confirmed that date yet, but live listings on two of India’s biggest shopping platforms mean the wait is nearly over.

The series made its global debut on 28 October, succeeding the X300 line, and all three models have already appeared on India’s BIS certification database — a routine but reliable sign that a launch is close.

Microsites live — the launch is now a matter of when, not if

The microsites went live on 6 November. Their teaser visuals play up next-generation ZEISS optics, high-resolution telephoto photography and cinematic video. The pages also highlight the accessories launching with the phones, including the Vivo Watch GT2 wristwatch and a premium ZEISS Telephoto Extender lens attachment.

Vivo plans to stream the launch event live on its official YouTube, X and Facebook handles in India. Live demonstrations of the camera system, the official pricing and the first sale dates are all still to be announced — the microsites confirm the phones are coming, but they do not yet give the date, the prices or the sale schedule.

Three models, with a 200MP ZEISS camera at the top

The top model is the one getting the most attention. The Vivo X500 Pro Max is tipped to carry a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED display running at 144Hz, a 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and an 8,000mAh battery. Its camera system is the headline: a 50MP Sony LYT-910 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP Samsung HP0 periscope telephoto lens with ZEISS APO optics and 3.5x optical zoom, plus a 50MP selfie camera.

The Pro Max is also the only model that supports Vivo’s ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra — a clip-on lens attachment that gives telephoto reach comparable to a 400mm lens inside the phone’s native camera app. The standard X500 is tipped to support a smaller 200mm Zeiss G2 teleconverter instead.

The middle model, the Vivo X500 Pro, is tipped to be the compact flagship of the range: a 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display at 144Hz, the same Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, a 6,510mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera with a 64MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens. The standard Vivo X500 is tipped to offer a 6.59-inch 1.5K 144Hz display, a 3nm Dimensity 9600M chipset, a 7,500mAh battery, and a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main camera with a 64MP 3x telephoto lens. All three are expected to carry IP68/IP69 resistance and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Big batteries and new Dimensity chips

The tipster’s figures put the standard X500 at 7,500mAh, the Pro at 6,510mAh and the Pro Max at 8,000mAh, all with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The chips are MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9600 series — the 3nm Dimensity 9600M in the standard model and the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro in the Pro and Pro Max — and the phones are expected to run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.

These remain tipped specifications, and Vivo may adjust the Indian models — but the shape of the line is clear: camera hardware, huge batteries and the new Dimensity chips.

What is still not confirmed — the date and the prices

Two things remain genuinely unconfirmed. The first is the launch date: 25 November comes from tipster Debayan Roy, who posted it on 1 November and noted that all three models have cleared BIS certification. Vivo has teased the series for this month but has not named a date, so 25 November should be treated as tipped, not confirmed.

The second is pricing. Vivo has not announced prices, and early reports disagree so widely that no figure can be stated with confidence. Pricing and first sale dates are expected at the launch event, with sales tipped to begin in early December.

What about Pakistan?

Vivo Pakistan has not announced a local launch date for the X500 series, and there is no official word yet on when — or at what price — the phones might reach Pakistani buyers. Until Vivo Pakistan makes an announcement, any Pakistan pricing or availability quoted before then would be speculation. The 25 November event will at least settle the specifications and international pricing.
