Today, 30 October 2026, is the final day to submit online forms for self-finance and donor seats at the University of Karachi for Admissions 2027. The form window opened on 20 October, and forms are accepted only through the candidate portal — so anyone who has been putting the application off has hours left, not days. No closing hour was announced for today, which means the safe move is to submit well before the day ends rather than testing how late the portal stays open.
University of Karachi Self-Finance and Donor Seats 2027: Forms Close Today
Two different form windows ran side by side this month, and it is easy to confuse them:
Self-finance and donor seats (online): 20–30 October 2026 — closes today.
Claim forms for test-based programmes (candidate portal): 20–22 October 2026 — already closed. These cannot be submitted now, and they should not be confused with today’s deadline.
The test-based admission lists themselves — covering BS, B.Ed (Hons), B.E., DPT (morning) and Doctor of Pharmacy (morning and evening) — were announced by the Directorate of Admissions on 19 October 2026, and the entry tests for those programmes were held on 11 October. So today’s deadline is for the separate self-finance and donor-seat track, not for fresh test-based applications.
Who self-finance seats are for
Self-finance seats at the University of Karachi are the paid-seat route for candidates who want admission into the university’s morning programmes but cannot secure a seat on the regular merit track. They are a separate category from open merit, from the reserved-quota seats (whose own window runs 21–31 October), and from the evening programmes.
Candidates applying on self-finance should still satisfy the eligibility conditions of the programme they are choosing — the same intermediate results, prerequisites and, for test-based departments, the condition of having applied for and appeared in the 11 October entry test. The form asks for the programme choice and the supporting record; selecting a programme without meeting its published eligibility wastes a submission on a track that will not admit you.

How to submit the form before the day ends
Forms go through the online admission portal at uokadmission.edu.pk — there is no separate paper route mentioned for this track. Before starting, keep the essentials ready: your programme choice, your academic record, and a clear scan of whatever documents the form requests. Fill the form carefully in one sitting, review every field before submitting, and save or print the confirmation the portal gives you — that confirmation, or its reference number, is your proof of submission if anything is disputed later.
One warning that applies every year: portals slow down on the last day. Waiting until the evening on 30 October means competing with every other last-day applicant for the same bandwidth. Apply in the morning if you still can.
What happens after today
Submitting the form today does not finish the admission. The next hard dates are in November: enrolment forms and fee vouchers are activated on the portal from 8 November 2026, and the enrolment form, paid fee voucher and original documents must be submitted between 9 and 19 November, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the venue the university names (historically the gymnasium hall). The rule is strict: if the fee is not paid and the documents are not submitted within the stipulated dates, the admission is cancelled and no claim is entertained afterwards.
Verify everything on the official notices
Admission schedules can be amended, and third-party roundups — including this one — should never be the final word. Before taking any step, cross-check the dates, the form window and the submission venue against the official notices on the University of Karachi’s admissions portal and website. If the portal’s own dates differ from what you read anywhere else, the portal wins.
