Pakistani Drama 2026: Latest Serials, Cast and Timings
The television industry is enjoying one of its most competitive seasons in years. As of October 2026, the three big networks — ARY Digital, Hum TV and Geo Entertainment — are locked in a ratings battle with star-studded casts, A-list writers and storylines that get the whole country talking. Whether you follow every episode live or catch up on YouTube the next morning, this Pakistani drama guide covers the serials everyone is watching right now and the upcoming launches to mark on your calendar.
ARY Digital’s weekday slot belongs to Main Tera, airing Monday to Friday at 9 PM. The serial stars Arez Ahmed as Hassan, a devoted son caring for his four sisters, alongside Yusra Irfan as Kashmala and Ghana Ali as Tabinda. Written by Tanveer Khalil and directed by Seraj Us Salikin, the show’s family-first storyline has made it one of the most talked-about television offerings of the season, with each episode trending online the morning after broadcast.
Pakistani Drama on ARY Digital: What’s Next
Coming soon on ARY is Rutba, a heavyweight production written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hassan. The cast brings together Mehwish Hayat, Hiba Bukhari, Talha Chahour and Zahid Ahmed — a line-up that has set high expectations. ARY has built its reputation on big-cast family sagas, and Rutba looks set to continue that tradition with a story that spans generations and class divides.
Hum TV is leaning on star power this season. Aangan reunites Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir and Mawra Hocane in a period family saga that has been years in the making. Meanwhile, Hurmat pairs digital stars Dananeer Mobeen and Shahveer Jafry in their first leading television roles, and Gulbahar brings Sanam Saeed, Emmad Irfani and Komal Meer together under director Mehreen Jabbar’s experienced eye. The channel’s blend of romance, family conflict and strong female leads continues to define the modern serial.
Geo and Green Entertainment Join the Race
Geo Entertainment is holding its own with Nashtar, starring Danish Taimoor, Anmol Baloch, Naeema Butt and Haroon Shahid, and Tapish with Muneeb Butt, Laiba Khan and Saad Qureshi — both performing strongly in the ratings. The channel is also lining up Bano (Hina Tariq, Haris Waheed), Mohabbat (Feroze Khan, Nawal Saeed) and Jang e Ishq, which marks Imran Ashraf’s return as both actor and writer.
Green Entertainment, the newest player, is generating real buzz with Mitti De Baway — the first on-screen pairing of Mahira Khan and Wahaj Ali, written by Faiza Iftikhar and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. The combination of two of the industry’s biggest stars has made it one of the most anticipated Pakistani drama launches of the year.
The channel’s focus on limited-episode formats has also won praise from viewers tired of dragged-out storylines, and its growing YouTube audience suggests the newcomer is here to stay.
