Motorola has finally put a date on its next big flagship: the Motorola Signature 27 will launch globally on November 5, the company confirmed through its official X account this week. The announcement ends weeks of teasers that promised only a vague “November” window, and it gives Motorola fans a concrete date to circle on the calendar.
The company described the new phone as “elegantly crafted for comfort” and invited users to “see for yourself on November 5” — a clear signal that Motorola intends this device to be a design-first flagship that also happens to pack one of the most powerful chips on the market.
Motorola Signature 27 launch date confirmed for November 5
The Motorola Signature 27 is only the second phone in the company’s Signature series, following the original Motorola Signature. It was first showcased at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit in September 2026 and later appeared at the Indian Mobile Congress 2026, where attendees got an early look at its hardware.
Motorola has already confirmed several headline features — a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 main sensor with optical image stabilisation, Android 17 out of the box and seven years of operating-system updates. Full specifications and pricing are expected at the November 5 event, and the phone sits firmly in the premium flagship segment.
200MP periscope zoom: the camera that steals the show

The headline act is unmistakably the camera. The Motorola Signature 27 pairs a 200MP periscope telephoto lens — with optical image stabilisation and a Super Zoom reaching up to 100x according to early listings — with a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 main sensor that also carries OIS.
That is a serious statement of intent. Periscope telephoto lenses remain one of the clearest dividing lines between ordinary premium phones and true flagships, because they deliver genuine optical zoom instead of digital cropping. A 200MP resolution on that lens gives Motorola enormous cropping headroom on top of the optical range, and OIS on both lenses should keep long-zoom shots stable.
Motorola also confirmed Bang & Olufsen-tuned audio, continuing a partnership that has become one of the brand’s signature touches. The large camera module visible on the device appears to house several sensors, but Motorola has not yet explained the roles of the remaining lenses — expect those details on November 5.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 power and ArcticMesh cooling

Under the hood, the Motorola Signature 27 will be among the first phones in the world to ship with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. A Geekbench 7 listing for the handset shows preliminary scores of 3,313 in single-core and 11,088 in multi-core tests, with 12GB of RAM and Android 17 — figures that place it at the very top of the Android performance table, even allowing for the fact that pre-launch benchmark units do not always reflect final retail performance.
To keep all that power cool, Motorola has fitted the phone with its ArcticMesh cooling system, which the company says uses a vapor chamber 40% larger than the previous generation. That matters more than it sounds: sustained performance in gaming and camera-heavy workloads is decided as much by cooling as by the chip itself.
Seven years of updates, Pantone colours — and the price question
One of the most consumer-friendly announcements is software support: Motorola promises seven years of OS upgrades for the Motorola Signature 27, matching the longest commitments in the Android world. With Android 17 shipping out of the box, that means the phone could stay current well into the next decade.
The phone will come in two Pantone-curated colours — Coal Smoke, with a woven texture designed to improve grip and durability, and Capulet Green, with a brushed textile-inspired finish. Leaked details also point to a 6.8-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 6,000mAh battery, though Motorola has not confirmed those figures yet.
The big unanswered question is price. Motorola has not announced official pricing, but a European retailer listing has shown a 12GB + 512GB configuration at around €1,595 (roughly $1,735), with Indian estimates hovering near the Rs 100,000 mark. There is also no word yet on a Pakistan launch date or local pricing — buyers here will need to wait for Motorola’s regional announcements. For now, the Motorola Signature 27 looks like a flagship that has earned its November 5 date: a 200MP zoom camera, the newest Snapdragon chip, and update support that outlasts most rivals.
