Television fans searching for the best pakistani dramas 2026 have plenty to look forward to. The year has already delivered several trending serials across Hum TV, ARY Digital, Geo Entertainment and Green Entertainment, and a wave of high-profile upcoming dramas is set to air in the final quarter of 2026. This guide rounds up the most anticipated new serials and the ones currently dominating conversation, updated 15 October 2026.
Pakistani Dramas 2026: Most Anticipated Upcoming Serials
Leading the list of upcoming serials is Mitti De Baway on Green Entertainment, starring Wahaj Ali and Mahira Khan. The pairing has generated enormous pre-release buzz, and the serial is expected to be one of the biggest launches of the season. Geo Entertainment’s Mohabbat, starring Feroze Khan and Nawal Saeed and produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, is another heavily anticipated title with a star cast designed for prime time.
On Hum TV, Hurmat brings together Dananeer Mobeen and Shahveer Jafry, while Aangan stars Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir and Mawra Hocane in what promises to be an ensemble family epic. ARY Digital’s Rutba features Mehwish Hayat, Hiba Bukhari, Talha Chahour and Zahid Ahmed, with writing by Umera Ahmed and direction by Haseeb Hassan — a combination that has viewers expecting big things. Other upcoming serials include Mohabbat Mukhtasir (Usama Khan and Madiha Imam on Hum TV), Dil e Bekhabar and Jang e Ishq (Imran Ashraf’s writer-actor project on Geo), and Goongay Behre Khawab, which marks Hamza Ali Abbasi’s much-awaited comeback to television drama after years away from the small screen.

Star Pairings Driving the Season’s Hype
One reason audiences are excited about this year’s serials is the freshness of the lead pairings. Wahaj Ali and Mahira Khan headline Mitti De Baway in a combination nobody predicted, while Feroze Khan and Nawal Saeed bring proven chemistry to Mohabbat. On Hum TV, Dananeer Mobeen’s pairing with Shahveer Jafry in Hurmat introduces a new-generation lead opposite a digital star, and Sajal Aly reunites with Ahad Raza Mir in Aangan — a pairing with a history that guarantees pre-air hype. These casting decisions, more than any marketing, are what push a serial into the trending lists before a single episode airs.
What Makes This Year’s Drama Lineup Different
This year’s lineup shows an industry widening its range. Family epics still dominate the prime-time slots, but psychological thrillers and intense romances are finding loyal audiences. Green Entertainment continues to bet on cinematic production values, while the established channels lean on star pairings and proven writers to hold their slots. The result is one of the most diverse slates in recent years.
Viewers should treat unconfirmed premiere dates with caution — schedules shift often, and many viral “tonight’s episode” claims turn out to be wrong. Stick to the channels’ official announcements and verified entertainment outlets when planning your watchlist for the rest of the season, and bookmark this page for updates as new serials are announced.
