Bigg Boss 20: What Is Bigg Boss?

Bigg Boss is the Indian adaptation of the global Big Brother format. A group of celebrity housemates live together in an isolated house, filmed around the clock. Weekly tasks, nominations and public voting decide who stays and who goes, until one winner takes the trophy in the grand finale.

The Season 20 Format

• The house: a brand-new themed house with hidden cameras everywhere.
• Tasks: physical, mental and team challenges every week.
• Nominations: housemates vote each other into the danger zone.
• Weekend episodes: the host reviews the week’s drama and announces eliminations.
• Wildcard entries: new contestants can enter mid-season to shake things up.

The Contestants

Each season brings a mix of television actors, influencers, singers and surprise faces. Contestant lists are officially announced at the premiere — beware of fake lists circulating on social media before the launch episode.
