Qazi Touqeer’s Wife Hifsa Shares Emotional Message: ‘Bring the Bigg Boss 20 Trophy Home’

Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer has received a heartfelt show of support from home. His wife, Dr Syeda Hifsa Qazi, has shared an emotional message on social media praising his journey inside the reality show, crediting his parents for the man he has become, and urging him to bring the winner’s trophy home.

The message arrived after an emotional family moment inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, where contestants were given the chance to receive photographs and recorded messages from their loved ones. For Qazi, the moment became one of the most talked-about scenes of the week.

A Family Message That Moved the House

During the family task, contestants had to choose between receiving a message from home and keeping an additional lifeline in the game. Fellow contestant Manish Goel gave up his own lifeline so that Qazi could hear his family’s message instead — a gesture that left viewers praising the bond between the two housemates.

Qazi became visibly emotional as he listened to the recording and received a framed photograph of himself with his mother. The moment, broadcast in the episode, showed the singer wiping away tears as the rest of the house looked on.

Hifsa later shared the same photograph on Instagram, writing that she was posting with a heart full of emotions. She thanked Qazi’s supporters for standing by him through the season and said she was proud of the way he has been playing the game, giving it what she described as his “blood, sweat, and soul”.

“A Lion Was Born to His Mother”

In her note, Hifsa reserved her warmest words for Qazi’s parents, saying they were the reason he has stayed grounded despite early fame. She wrote in Urdu: “Ek sher ko janam diya hai jisne, woh Qazi ki Ami jaan hain! Us sher ko dahaadna sikhaya hai jisne, woh Qazi ke abba jaan hain!” — a lion was born to his mother, and his father taught that lion how to roar.

She said that what kept Qazi grounded was his upbringing, and what kept him rising even during his years away from the screen was his parents, their prayers, blessings and values. She also pointed to what he achieved at the age of nineteen, saying it was something many people struggle to achieve in an entire lifetime.

Calling herself a proud wife, she wrote: “I feel blessed and immensely proud to be his Shareek-e-Hayat.” She ended her message with a direct appeal to her husband and his fans: “Together, let’s make history and bring the BB20 trophy home!”

From Fame Gurukul at 19 to Bigg Boss 20

Qazi Touqeer shot to fame in 2005 when he won the singing reality show Fame Gurukul along with Ruprekha Banerjee. The victory, at just nineteen, made the young singer from Srinagar a household name across India and Pakistan. Two decades later, his appearance on Bigg Boss 20 has brought him back into the spotlight, introducing him to a new generation of viewers.

His marriage became a talking point on the show itself. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, host Salman Khan asked Qazi directly about his marital status, after speculation among viewers about whether the singer was married. Qazi confirmed that he is married and that his wife, Hifsa, is a dentist.

“Hifsa means lioness. She is the biggest fan of Bigg Boss. I feel that God had decided when I was born that I would marry her. I do everything for her happiness, sir. But I love you, Hifsa,” he told Salman Khan on the show.

Soon after that episode, Hifsa shared her first public note for her husband, writing: “I LOVE YOU MORE, MY JAAN, MY JAANE-JAAN! I am SO incredibly proud of you. You deserve every bit of the love, respect, and honour that is coming your way. This is YOUR time to rock, shine, and conquer the world!”

She added that she believed in his vision, his calibre and his extraordinary ability to turn the impossible into reality, and that his honesty was his greatest strength. “I truly believe that very soon, I will see you holding that BB20 trophy, with your head held high,” she wrote, calling him her “rockstar”.

Standing by Him Through the Quiet Years

Hifsa has also spoken up for her husband against taunts about his long absence from television. Qazi has often faced questions about why he was not seen on screen for years after his Fame Gurukul win, with some critics suggesting he had simply stopped getting work.

His wife rejected that idea outright. She explained that the reason audiences did not see Qazi on screen for a considerable period was never a lack of work — his priorities were different, and so was the kind of work he chose. She said he made the most of that gap, accomplishing things during that phase that many people struggle to achieve even after remaining consistently visible on screen for years.

“And now, through this Bigg Boss journey, he is showing the world exactly what those years of growth, experience, and hard work have created. A TRUE ROCKSTAR. A RARE DIAMOND,” she wrote.

With the contest still running inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, Hifsa’s message has given Qazi’s campaign a fresh wave of support online. Fans have flooded her post with comments, many echoing her call to bring the trophy home — and for a singer who first won the nation’s heart at nineteen, the road to a second reality-show title now runs through the very family that has stood behind him all along.
