PTCL Packages 2026: Internet, Flash Fiber and CharJi Details
PTCL packages cover home internet for millions of Pakistani households — from legacy DSL to the modern Flash Fiber service and the portable CharJi wireless device. This guide explains all the main PTCL packages for 2026: DSL plans, Flash Fiber speeds and prices, CharJi data bundles, and how to check coverage, updated as of 15 October 2026.
PTCL’s fixed-line prices are quoted before taxes. The final monthly bill adds advance withholding tax and provincial sales tax, so the billed amount runs noticeably higher than the headline tariff — factor this in when budgeting.
PTCL Packages: DSL Broadband
Traditional PTCL packages on copper DSL remain available where fiber has not reached. Typical 2026 DSL tiers run from 6 Mbps (around Rs. 2,800-3,200 per month) through 8 Mbps and 10 Mbps up to 15 Mbps (roughly Rs. 4,500-5,000). DSL works for basic browsing and video calls, but speeds drop during peak hours and uploads are very slow — fine for a single user, frustrating for a busy household.
Installation for DSL costs around Rs. 2,500-5,000. If Flash Fiber coverage exists in your area, fiber is the smarter choice in almost every case.
Flash Fiber Packages
Flash Fiber is PTCL’s fiber-to-the-home service and the heart of its 2026 lineup. Indicative monthly tariffs: 20 Mbps around Rs. 3,500, 30 Mbps about Rs. 4,200, 40 Mbps roughly Rs. 4,800, 50 Mbps near Rs. 5,200, and 100 Mbps around Rs. 8,500. Premium tiers extend to 250 Mbps and beyond for offices and power users.
Most PTCL packages on fiber bundle free on-net voice calls and a Smart TV service, and higher tiers add OTT subscriptions and priority support. Fiber delivers equal upload and download speeds with ultra-low latency — a genuine upgrade for freelancers, gamers and work-from-home households.
CharJi Wireless Packages
CharJi is PTCL’s portable 4G device for users without wired internet — travellers, renters and backup connections. Typical CharJi data bundles in 2026: around 25 GB for Rs. 1,500, 50 GB for Rs. 2,500, and 100 GB for Rs. 4,000 per month. Remember CharJi is not unlimited: once the data ends, speeds drop or extra charges apply.
CharJi suits light-to-moderate mobile use, but a fixed fiber line is cheaper per GB for heavy home usage.
How to Check Coverage and Subscribe
Before choosing any of the PTCL packages, check coverage: call the PTCL helpline at 1218, visit the nearest PTCL office, or check online on the official PTCL website. Ask specifically whether Flash Fiber is available at your address, what speeds are supported, and what the current installation charges are — fiber installation runs roughly Rs. 8,000-15,000 but is often discounted in promotions.

Which PTCL Package Should You Pick?
For a small household with light browsing, 20-30 Mbps fiber is plenty. Streaming families and remote workers should look at 50 Mbps. Only content creators, heavy gamers and small offices genuinely need 100 Mbps or more. Whatever you choose, confirm the after-tax bill and installation cost in writing before the technician visits. Also check whether your area qualifies for promotional installation waivers before paying the full fee, and confirm the router model included — fiber connections need a compatible ONT device, which PTCL usually provides and configures during the installation visit.
