Pakistan Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Complete Fixtures and Series
The Pakistan cricket schedule for the 2026-27 season is one of the busiest home calendars the team has had in years, headlined by an ODI tri-series against England and Sri Lanka, a two-Test World Test Championship series, and preparation building towards the 2027 ODI World Cup. As of 15 October 2026, the Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed the home-season programme running from mid-October through March 2027, with matches in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and further assignments in early 2027.
This guide lays out every confirmed fixture on the Pakistan cricket schedule, including dates, venues, captains and what is at stake in each series.
Pakistan Cricket Schedule: October 2026 ODI Tri-Series
The centrepiece of the home season is the ODI tri-series featuring Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka from 18 to 31 October 2026. The round-robin format gives each side four matches, with the top two meeting in the final at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. All matches are day-night fixtures. The confirmed dates are:
- 18 October: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium
- 20 October: Pakistan vs England, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium
- 22 October: England vs Sri Lanka, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium
- 25 October: Pakistan vs England, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
- 27 October: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
- 29 October: England vs Sri Lanka, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
- 31 October: Final, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Shaheen Shah Afridi captains Pakistan in the ODIs, with Harry Brook leading England and Kusal Mendis captaining Sri Lanka. England have rested Jofra Archer and recalled several players, while Pakistan announced their squads on 5 October. The tri-series is a key warm-up for the 2027 World Cup, which South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will host.
Test Series Against Sri Lanka in November
After the white-ball action, the Pakistan cricket schedule switches to red-ball cricket with a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka that counts towards the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle. The first Test runs from 9 to 13 November at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and the second from 17 to 21 November at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Sri Lanka will play a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from 4 to 6 November before the Tests. This is Pakistan’s second home Test series of the current WTC cycle, after South Africa visited earlier. Pakistan sit eighth in the Test rankings as of mid-October 2026, so every WTC point matters for their standing.
T20I Fixtures and the 2027 Itinerary
The Pakistan cricket schedule also includes a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka played from 9 to 13 October 2026, which Pakistan won 2-1 — a series that produced big ranking gains for young opener Maaz Sadaqat. Looking into 2027, the confirmed itinerary includes three T20Is against Ireland in January, a triangular ODI series involving Zimbabwe in January, a one-off Test against Ireland in February, and a two-Test series against New Zealand in February-March 2027.
Some reports in early October suggested the Zimbabwe tri-series and the Ireland Test could be reconsidered for commercial reasons, but the PCB has not officially confirmed any cancellations, so fans should treat those fixtures as live until the board says otherwise.
World Cup 2027 Group Fixtures
The long-range Pakistan cricket schedule is anchored by the 2027 ODI World Cup, for which Pakistan’s Group A fixtures have been announced. Pakistan open against Afghanistan in Tshwane on 8 October 2027, face India in Johannesburg on 10 October, play Qualifier A in Bloemfontein on 15 October, meet Zimbabwe in Harare on 19 October, and finish the group stage against Australia in Paarl on 22 October. Pakistan are pre-seeded for the Super 7 stage with the A3 position.
The India-Pakistan clash on 10 October 2027 at the Wanderers is already being billed as the marquee fixture of the group stage. For more on the history of this rivalry, read our Pakistan vs India cricket rivalry record, and for squad news see the Pakistan cricket team 2026 profile.
Dates are as announced by the PCB and may shift. Cross-check with the full Pakistan schedule breakdown on CricketWinner and the UrduPure home-season guide before making travel plans.
