The prize bond list 2026 is the official calendar of all prize bond draws in Pakistan, announced by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) at the start of the year. Ordinary vs Premium Bonds

In the prize bond list 2026, ordinary bearer bonds of Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 750 and Rs 1,500 work on a simple principle: buy the bond, hold it, and enter every quarterly draw until you encash it. The principal is never at risk and bonds never expire. Prize amounts for ordinary bonds are:

  • Rs 100: 1st Rs 700,000 (1 winner), 2nd Rs 200,000 (3), 3rd Rs 1,000 (1,199)
  • Rs 200: 1st Rs 750,000 (1), 2nd Rs 250,000 (5), 3rd Rs 1,250 (2,394)
  • Rs 750: 1st Rs 1,500,000 (1), 2nd Rs 500,000 (3), 3rd Rs 9,300 (1,696)
  • Rs 1,500: 1st Rs 3,000,000 (1), 2nd Rs 1,000,000 (3), 3rd Rs 18,500 (1,696)

The prize bond list 2026 also includes the two premium denominations, which are registered in the buyer’s name and pay biannual profit in addition to prizes:

  • Rs 25,000 Premium: 1st Rs 30,000,000 (2 winners), 2nd Rs 10,000,000 (5), 3rd Rs 300,000 (700)
  • Rs 40,000 Premium: 1st Rs 80,000,000 (1), 2nd Rs 30,000,000 (3), 3rd Rs 500,000 (660)

Note that the old bearer bonds of Rs 7,500 and Rs 15,000 were withdrawn by the government and no longer appear in the schedule. Holders of these withdrawn bonds should encash or convert them through authorised channels. How to Check Results and Claim Prizes

The prize bond list 2026 helps bondholders track every draw, but checking results requires the official winning-number lists published at savings.gov.pk after each draw, in leading newspapers and at National Savings Centres. Ordinary-bond winners can lodge claims 3 to 4 working days after the draw (valid for six years) with the original bond and CNIC, while premium-bond winnings are credited automatically to the registered bank account.

Independent resources such as Saving.com.pk publish the official prize tables for all denominations, and TechJuice carries the official 2026 draw dates and cities announcement.

Tax on Prize Bond Winnings

All prize money is paid after withholding tax: 15% for active tax filers and 30% for non-filers. On the Rs 8 crore top prize of the Rs 40,000 premium bond, that is the difference between keeping Rs 6.8 crore and Rs 5.6 crore — so filer status matters enormously at the top end, and still matters on smaller prizes.

Frequently Asked Questions
