FBISE Result 2026: How to Check Federal Board Result Online
The fbise result for the 2026 annual examinations has been announced for all four classes under the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad. The Federal Board covers federal government institutions in Pakistan as well as affiliated institutions overseas, and it announces the results of both classes of each level together. This guide covers the confirmed 2026 announcement dates, the official methods to check by roll number, name and SMS, and what comes next for federal board students.
FBISE Result 2026 Announcement Dates
The fbise result schedule for the 1st annual examinations 2026 was confirmed by the board as follows:
- SSC (9th and 10th class) annual result: 29 July 2026 at 11:15 AM — both classes announced together
- HSSC (11th and 12th class) annual result: 9 September 2026 at 11:30 AM — both parts announced together
The Federal Board traditionally releases the SSC-I and SSC-II results on the same day, and likewise declares HSSC Part-I and Part-II together — a practice that continued in 2026. All results remain available on the board’s portals after announcement. Students who appeared in the 2nd annual (supplementary) examinations should note that the SSC 2nd Annual papers ran from 24 September to late October 2026, with results expected toward the end of November 2026.
Check Your Result by Roll Number
The official web portal is the primary channel. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official FBISE website at www.fbise.edu.pk and open the Results tab on the homepage.
- Select the correct examination — SSC-I, SSC-II, HSSC-I or HSSC-II Annual Examination 2026.
- Enter your exact roll number or your name as registered with the board.
- Click Submit to view your detailed scorecard.
The board’s site often experiences heavy traffic in the first minutes after an announcement, so remain patient if the page loads slowly. Results also appear on the board’s dedicated result portal, result.fbise.edu.pk. Once your result appears, save or print a copy — but keep in mind that institutions will ask for the original result card for admissions and verification.
Federal Board Result via SMS and Gazette
The board provides a reliable SMS backup for your fbise result. Open your phone’s messaging app, type FB, a space, and your roll number (for example, “FB 123456”), and send the message to 5050. You will receive an automated reply with your subject-wise scores. This option is especially useful when the online portal is overloaded.
FBISE also publishes an official result gazette after each announcement, which students and institutions can use to verify results by roll number or name. For further assistance, students can contact the FBISE administration on the board’s official helpline (UAN 111 032 473). The announcement details are documented in press coverage, including this report on the FBISE HSSC result 2026 announcement and this Federal Board result overview with checking methods.
FBISE Grading and Passing Criteria
For 2026, the Federal Board requires a minimum of 40 percent marks per subject to pass, consistent with the national standard adopted across boards. FBISE uses a 10-tier grading scale ranging from A++ down to U, which replaced the older division system. Students who do not clear a subject can appear in the 2nd annual examination — the SSC 2nd Annual 2026 papers were held in September and October 2026 — or apply for paper rechecking within the board’s announced window. The board conducts a prize distribution ceremony in its main auditorium at the time of result declaration, honouring the top position holders.
Because FBISE examinations are held in late March with results in July and August, federal board students get an early start on the admission cycle. If you are comparing timelines with the provincial boards, see our matric result 2026 guide and the 9th class result 2026 overview for the Punjab boards’ schedule.
What to Do After Checking Your Result
Once you have your fbise result, successful SSC students should apply for intermediate admissions at colleges of their choice, selecting groups (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce or Humanities) based on their marks and career plans. HSSC students who passed can move to university applications, keeping the original result card ready for verification. Students who missed a paper can register for the next 2nd annual examination, and those seeking better marks can apply for improvement papers as per the board’s rules. Acting early on admissions is the surest way to secure a preferred college or programme.

FBISE Result: What to Do After Checking
Once you have seen your fbise result on the Federal Board’s website, download the provisional result and verify your name, father’s name and marks carefully, because corrections are far easier before the printed result card is issued. Students unhappy with a paper can apply for rechecking or appear in the supplementary examination, while those aiming for a better division can attempt improvement of marks in the next session. FBISE also issues migration certificates for students moving to another board, and HSSC admissions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi colleges open shortly after the fbise result, so keep your documents, photographs and B-Form copies ready in advance.
FBISE Result Check by Roll Number and SMS
The standard fbise result check by roll number runs on the board’s website, where entering your roll number pulls up the provisional result instantly. As an alternative, the fbise result by sms service covers areas with weak internet, and the federal board result 2026 gazette serves institutions compiling records. Students moving to intermediate should note that the fbise hssc result 2026 follows a similar checking process later in the year. Keep checking the official Federal Board portal for rechecking forms and supplementary dates linked to your fbise result.
