PSL 2026 Schedule: Dates, Teams, Venues and Ticket Info

The PSL 2026 schedule marks the biggest season in Pakistan Super League history. The 11th edition of the league — PSL 11 — expanded from six teams to eight and, for the first time ever, was played across six venues in Pakistan. Running from 26 March to 3 May 2026, the tournament featured 44 matches over 39 days, ending with the final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. This complete PSL 2026 schedule guide covers the dates, the teams, the venues and everything fans need to know about tickets.

PSL 2026 Schedule: Key Dates and Format

According to the PSL 2026 schedule, the season opened on 26 March 2026 in Lahore, where defending champions Lahore Qalandars faced new franchise Hyderabad Kingsmen in the curtain-raiser. The 40-match league stage ran from 26 March to 26 April, followed by the playoffs on 28 and 29 April and 1 May, and the final on 3 May — with 4 May kept as a reserve day. Every playing day had a game at 8:00 pm local time, and on 11 of those days there were double-headers with an additional match at 2:30 pm.

PSL 11 Teams: Eight Franchises for the First Time

The PSL 2026 schedule featured eight teams — the six existing franchises plus two new additions. The existing teams were Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. The two new franchises joining this season were Hyderabad Kingsmen and Pindiz. The PCB also introduced a player auction system for this edition, replacing the traditional draft, which made squad-building one of the most-watched stories of the season.

PSL 2026 Venues: Six Cities Host Matches

One of the headline changes in the PSL 2026 schedule was the venue map. Matches were played at six stadiums: Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore (which hosted 15 matches including the final), National Bank Stadium in Karachi, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Multan Cricket Stadium, Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, and the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar — which hosted its first-ever PSL match when Peshawar Zalmi took on debutants Pindiz on 28 March.

PSL 2026 Tickets: Prices and How to Buy

Tickets for the PSL 2026 schedule went on sale online from 17 March 2026 through the PCB’s official ticketing partner portal, with physical ticket sales beginning on 24 March. The PCB kept general enclosure prices accessible: Rs. 250 in Karachi and Lahore, Rs. 300 at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, and Rs. 400 in Rawalpindi and Multan. For the historic first Peshawar match, premium tickets were priced at Rs. 1,500, VIP at Rs. 3,000 and the VVIP Gallery at Rs. 6,000, with a special VIP Family Zone at Rs. 2,000. Low-price enclosures for popular weekend fixtures sold out fastest, so early booking was the key lesson for fans.

PSL 2026 Schedule: Playoffs and Final Format

The PSL 2026 schedule concluded with the standard playoff structure. The top four teams from the league stage advanced to the playoffs: the Qualifier (1st vs 2nd) on 28 April, the first Eliminator on 29 April, the second Eliminator on 1 May, and the grand final on 3 May at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, with 4 May held as a reserve day in case of weather disruption. This format rewards consistency — the top two teams get two chances to reach the final — and it kept the points table race alive deep into the league stage, with net run rate deciding several qualification spots.
