How to Apply — Step by Step
Step 1 — Job Offer from Italy First, you need to find an Italian employer or a licensed recruitment agency. The employer applies for a Nulla Osta (work permit approval) on the Italian government portal. You cannot start the process yourself — the employer must start it.
Step 2 — Book Your Appointment in Pakistan Once the Nulla Osta is approved, you go to the VFS Global Italy website and book your visa appointment online.
Step 3 — Visit VFS Center Go to your nearest VFS Global center in Pakistan. Submit your documents and give biometrics in person.
Step 4 — Wait for Visa After submitting documents, the normal processing time is 4 to 8 weeks. During busy periods, it can take up to 3 to 6 months.
